A Class A CDL allows drivers to operate vehicles with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, provided the towed vehicle (such as a trailer) weighs more than 10,000 pounds. Class A CDL holders can drive tractor-trailers, truck and trailer combinations, tanker vehicles, flatbeds, and other large vehicles. This license class is necessary for professional truck drivers who transport substantial loads, often across state lines.
A Class B CDL allows drivers to operate single vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more, as well as certain buses and box trucks.
Unlike Class A, Class B does not permit drivers to tow trailers with a GCWR exceeding 10,000 pounds. Class B CDL holders can drive dump trucks, delivery trucks, passenger buses, and other mid-sized commercial vehicles.

I got my license here 6-27-2023. Great school all the teachers ( Armando -) are great and genuinely want to help you. They are passionate about teaching and will guide you through the course. And they have YouTube videos and documents they send to you to help pass your test. I also like the fact that it’s an “go at your own pace” type of deal leaving you room to balance life and school. Of course the students there are great too everyone’s on the same page to the their CDL so there’s always help when you need it. Overall I recommend anyone who wants to get their CDL to come here. I give it 11/10 stars
